		<title>Chief of Infrastructure Materials Quality Job (UAE-Abu Dhabi)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Chief of Infrastructure Materials Quality-02545<br/><br/><b>Description:</b><br/><br/>Chief of Infrastructure Material Quality is responsible for management of all aspects of the Client's Central Laboratory Section (CLS) and be the main point of contact with the Client's representatives regarding all daily laboratory operations and activities. Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:<br/><br/>·         Comply with the requirements of the scope of services as detailed in the Client's Terms of Reference (TOR).<br/><br/>·          Manage the daily activities of a large construction materials testing laboratory for the Client.<br/><br/>·         Manage a large team of engineers, laboratory technicians and assistants to ensure full implementation of the TOR.<br/><br/>·         Ensure overall management, planning, scheduling, and direction of the laboratory work.<br/><br/>·         Liaise with the Client regarding all technical matters involving materials testing, QA, reporting, etc. as related to the CLS.<br/><br/>·         Provide technical input, assistance, and support to the laboratory staff.<br/><br/>·         Issue monthly and yearly laboratory performance reports to the Client based on routine internal audits.<br/><br/>·         Delegate work and assignments to the senior laboratory staff and supervise their performance.<br/><br/>·         Provide support to the laboratory engineers for the following disciplines:<br/><br/>·         Cementitious materials.<br/><br/>·         Geotechnical Engineering.<br/><br/>·         Bituminous materials.<br/><br/>·         General civil materials.<br/><br/>·         Chemistry and metallurgy.<br/><br/>·         Electromechanical.<br/><br/>·         Ensure timely completion of all materials testing.<br/><br/>Arrange for the review, preparation and submission of deliverables such as approved materials vendor list, NDRC method statements, material submittals, site and plant inspection, equipment inventory and maintenance, Quality Assurance and external Accreditation, research and development to improve material specifications, etc.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Should have minimum of 4 years of College Degree in Civil Engineering or related program, with minimum of 15 years of experience of which 5 years was in the position of Chief or Head of Material Lab or similar responsibilities, and the rest 10 years working in Construction Material Lab.<br/><br/>Job<br/>Quality Assurance<br/><br/>Primary <b>Location:</b><br/>UAE-Abu Dhabi]]></description>
