		<description><![CDATA[Project Manager - IS-02546<br/><br/><b>Description:</b><br/><br/><b>Position Overview:</b><br/><br/>Provides direction and management for small to medium-sized projects and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.  The Project Manager is responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.  May Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.  Typical projects range up to $30 million in total installed cost.<br/><br/>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:<br/><br/>This Project Management Senior Specialist will be responsible for coordination, project management and delivery of multiple infrastructure, mobilization and/or application development initiatives for one of Parsons. Specifically, the Project Manager will coordinate with software vendors, Hardware Vendors, internal account IS infrastructure and applications teams, and with Parsons' senior executives in executing the various infrastructure / application projects. Additional responsibilities include proposal development, project schedule, scope, and budget control throughout the project, as well as project communications.<br/><br/>? Overall success of each project, to be completed within approved budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction<br/><br/>? Facilitation of requirements gathering with the customer and internal subject matter experts to meet both business and technical requirements to plan<br/><br/>? Tracking, documenting, and communicating scope, status, and RAID items throughout the project<br/><br/>? Coordination of solution design and review<br/><br/>? Resolution of project issues<br/><br/>? Documentation of Project Initiation Forms / Task Orders for approval by internal and customer leadership<br/><br/>? Publish and maintain project schedules and assigned resources<br/><br/>? Continuous follow through and communication to all stakeholders as defined by the business<br/><br/>? Tracking of project metrics for milestone tracking<br/><br/>? Ordering of project hardware and software based on vendor quotes submitted by subject matter experts<br/><br/>? Managing change control of scope, schedule, budget, and resources<br/><br/>? Remote or onsite coordination of infrastructure implementation/integration<br/><br/>? Continuous follow up of hardware and software purchase orders until invoice payment by customer<br/><br/>? Identification of process improvements, process efficiencies, and savings to the customer<br/><br/>? Management and reporting of budget vs. actual project financials<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:<br/><br/>4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and at least 12-15 years of related work experience is required.  Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background.  Professional registration may also be required.<br/><br/>? Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) and Arabic verbal communication skills<br/>? Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management of IT application projects<br/>? Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management of IT infrastructure projects; in particular telecommunications and VOIP implementations for new construction.<br/>? Ability to travel in support of customer requirements<br/><br/>? Infrastructure Architecture (Design and Implementation)<br/><br/>? Strong Experience with IT Infrastructure and Applications Delivery<br/>? Development of RFI, RFQ, RFP documents.<br/>? Experience with software vendor/contracts management.<br/>? Ability to define Infrastructure, Application Systems and Interface requirements<br/><br/>? Demonstrate good experience on Microsoft Project 2003, 2007 & Microsoft Project Server 2003, 2007<br/><br/>SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:<br/><br/>Incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
