		<title>Senior Quantity Surveyor Job (Abu Dhabi, UAE)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[·          Prepare monthly cost reports; <br/><br/> ·          Manage and report on costs related to changes; <br/><br/> ·          Valuing completed work and arranging payments; <br/><br/> ·          Review and recommend in respect of Final Accounts; <br/><br/> ·          The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparation of interim valuations in respect of Design and Supervision Consultants and Vendors; <br/><br/> ·          Preparation of Interim Payment Certificates in respect of Parsons' direct hire consultants for Lead QS endorsement; <br/><br/> ·          Review of Consultants recommendations in respect of Contractor payment applications including verifying supporting documentation is in order for endorsement by Lead Quantity Surveyor prior to recommendation to client for payment; <br/><br/> ·          The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for reviewing and verifying entitlement and estimated order of magnitude including documentary substantiation of Variation Requests for endorsement by Principal QS for recommending to client in respect of Consultant Contracts; <br/><br/> ·          Review of requirements in respect of Parsons Consultants and prepare and issue Task Orders. 		<title>Planning Engineer Job (Abu Dhabi, UAE)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[POSITION OVERVIEW   :         <br/>  Develops, implements and maintains cost control, and/or provides centralized planning and scheduling function on smaller projects worth less than $10 million total installed cost, or assists a more senior Project Control Engineer/Specialist with assigned segments of larger projects.  At this level, the Project Control Engineer/  <br/>  Specialist has sufficient training, technical expertise and familiarity with company policies and procedures to work mostly independently on assigned projects.  Some rotational experience may be through the Estimating, Cost Engineering, and Planning/Scheduling cost centers.  Assignments require the use of a personal computer and a working knowledge of various software used in the Project Controls Department, such as Excel, Primavera, and Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS).  <br/><br/>     SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES   :    <br/><br/>   Cost Engineering:   <br/><br/>  Develops and maintains the cost control portion of the Parsons Integrated Control System (PICS) to provide project management, as well as the department and Company management, with the necessary tools for project cost control.  <br/><br/>  May participate in the development of the work breakdown structure, interfacing with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance Departments.  <br/><br/>  Prepares and processes input to the cost control system for all cost reports.  <br/><br/>  Prepares graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate cost status and forecast requirements for Project Management and client.  <br/><br/>  Performs analytical review and arithmetic checks of cost reporting documentation.  <br/><br/>   Planning and Scheduling:   <br/><br/>  Implements and maintains the Planning/Scheduling portion of PICS.  Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.  Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information.  <br/><br/>  Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule.  Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.  Reports schedule status to all levels of project and Company management as well as to the Client.  <br/><br/>  Provides computer input and performs analytical review of reports generated.  <br/><br/>  Accumulates and accesses historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.  <br/><br/>  May provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to others in the resolution of project control problems.  <br/><br/>  Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.  <br/><br/>    PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:           <br/>  4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) and 3-5 years of related work experience.  <br/><br/> SKILLS/COMPETENCIES     :      <br/>  Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
