Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly Required

Project

Parsons is supporting a large scale Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) government program which will require review of third party design, engineering and installation deliverables; planning, design and commissioning services; and construction management oversight on mission critical facilities. This program will have openings for staff with current Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information and Counter Intelligence Polygraph (TS/SCI with CI Poly) clearance. Offers will be contingent upon award of contract which is anticipated in February or March of 2010.

Need

Parsons is seeking a Safety Manager to establish/implement the safety policy and manage the safety program to meet or exceed all current regulations and standards. The successful candidate will represent the project team in all safety matters including project meetings and pre-bid conferences. You will participate in the development and implementation of project and office safety plans. This includes supervising the safety performance of Parsons personnel and reviewing contractors' safety qualifications and programs. In addition, you will conduct safety audits and inspections as well as review safety records. In this role, you will assist the Workers' Compensation Analyst and review loss control reports from company insurance carriers and regulatory inspection agencies. Dedication to creating a safe work environment and commitment to ensuring compliance to health and safety requirements will be the keys to your success.

Qualifications

* 10+ years of related health and safety experience in engineering/construction for Federal government clients
* Demonstrated health and safety supervisory skills
* Extensive knowledge of Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting
* 4-year degree in construction or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Proof of US Citizenship and TS /SCI clearance with CI polygraph required
