Parsons is seeking an individual who is ready to perform as a Senior Bid Manager as part of the Project Development Team. Parsons has proposal centers in Washington, DC and Pasadena, CA. As the Bid Manager you will manage a team in responding to and preparing materials for proposals, qualifications packages, and client presentations. Responsibilities include all phases of the bid planning and execution life cycle for all volumes associated with a given pursuit, including technical, management, experience, cost, and others as required. Successful candidate will serve in a lead capacity on an average of 4 major proposals per year. Travel up to 50% during certain periods.

Requirements

7 years of related experience with at least 2 years leading federal proposal efforts
Strong proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office software, (Word, Excel, Access), and client presentations, including PowerPoint and orals preparation
Experience with proposal coordination and production process to ensure that a fully compliant bid is submitted
Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with effective communications skills and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
Experience in estimating and pricing mid to large size government service contracts (FFP, IDIQ, T&M, & cost plus, etc.) and an in-depth understanding of SCA, DBA, FAR, and CAS
Proven ability to write a range of proposal content including management, past performance, and resumes along with the ability to review and provide guidance on technical writing
Strong editing and proof-reading skill with high attention to detail

Parsons is seeking an Engineering Supervisor Process for a unique project to be based in Pasadena, California. Successful candidate will be the working supervisor of up to six Process Engineers and design personnel. The supervisor will also direct the technical discipline and coordinate staffing with responsibility for the schedule, cost, and quality of the discipline deliverables.

12 - 15 years of related work experience.
Professional Engineer registration may be required.
Proficiency with current technology and must be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.
4-year Degree in Engineering (or related field)

Project:
Parsons will provide EPC services from Pasadena for a Fully Integrated Energy and CO2 Recycling Pilot Plant. This project includes production of clean substitute natural gas from coal & renewable energy, recycling of greenhouse gas releases, and a new source of domestic transportation fuel. A 60 acre Fully Integrated Project campus will be constructed near Holbrook, Arizona.

Parsons is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to applying mechanical engineering techniques and analyses for this unique project. Position will reside in Pasadena, California. Successful candidate will be involved in the design of high pressure and temperature chemical reactors and Algae systems. Travel required to the supplier and construction sites.

5 - 8 years of related work experience.
Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
4-year Degree in Engineering (or related field)
