Our landmark planning, environmental, engineering, construction, and facility operation programs have supported federally-funded chemical weapons demilitarization, military installations and ranges, space exploration, missile defense, aviation, and sustainability programs. Our services also support homeland security initiatives and reconstruction efforts after man-made or natural disasters.<br/><br/>Need<br/><br/>Parsons is seeking a Procurement Manager who will provide management and direction for all procurement functions for the Huntsville office.  Successful candidate will lead a procurement staff of three on numerous small to large sized projects with focus on subcontracting, purchasing, supplier data control and supplier quality.  Contracts will be largely federal with some commercial.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Requirements<br/><br/>* 8 - 10 + years of diversified experience in all phases of procurement activities on large, global engineering and construction projects, including managerial experience.<br/>* Previous federal government procurement or military background is a plus.<br/>* Proficiency in utilizing online procurement and material and document controls systems.<br/>* Experience with cradle to grave and working knowledge of FAR<br/>* Excellent written and oral communication skills.<br/>* 4-year College Degree preferred<br/><br/>Candidates are encouraged to apply at http://www.parsonsjobs.com/ to requisition XXXX.
