		<description><![CDATA[Senior Electrical Resident Construction Manager - Yanbu, Saudi Arabia    <br/><br/>    Project    <br/><br/>  Parsons is the management services associated with helping the Saudi Arabia Royal Commission on finalizing the master plan, all infrastructure design, development, project management, construction management and consulting engineering for the new industrial city of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This complex expands and diversifies the Kingdom's economy by establishing an integrated industrial center on the Red Sea. Basic infrastructure includes transportation and communications networks; water, sewerage, and electrical power systems; a desalination system; industrial and sanitary wastewater treatment plants; industrial parks; a deep water port; airport; and complete community facilities for housing, education, culture, government, public safety, and health care.  <br/><br/>  An important project element is the development of the new community of 80,000. Facilities include schools, mosques, shopping centers, hospitals, and the site of the new Yanbu Industrial College polytechnic institute. The new community is one of the largest ever planned and was constructed as a single project.  <br/><br/>    Need    <br/><br/>  Parsons is seeking a Senior Electrical Resident Construction Manager to be based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Successful candidate will provide senior level consultation and coordination of management of construction projects. Will monitor construction progress and schedules and the review and surveillance of field operations of the various contractors. The new community is one of the largest ever planned and was constructed as a single project.  <br/><br/>    Need    <br/><br/>  Parsons is seeking a Manager, Infrastructure Planning (Electrical) to be based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia for a 24 month position with approved periodic home leave.  This successful candidate will perform the following duties:   <br/><br/>  Develop & maintain master plans (long-range plans) for all utility systems and continually evaluate & modify as necessary.  <br/>  Perform all required studies for various utility systems.  For electrical system, used ETAP software or equivalent software to perform power system studies on various voltage systems.  <br/>  Maintain records/data on electrical, process water and potable water system and equipment, historical and real time utility load/usage data on system basis and large customer or area basis.  <br/>  Ensure that incremental utility system expansions fit into master plans so as to promote operating economies and system security/reliability.  <br/>  Monitor growth plans/projections in order to readily provide information regarding utility demands possibilities for expansion.  <br/>  Coordinate with other Royal Commission departments including MARAFIQ and Saudi ARAMCO.  <br/>  Plan system expansions for serving projected demand including: identify projects and prepare scope of work; prepare project implementation schedules; exercise value engineering principles; and prepare annual budget requests.  <br/>  Train Saudi Engineers.  <br/>  Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.   <br/><br/>    Benefits     <br/><br/>  Furnished housing and utilities are provided by the client for free  <br/>  You will receive a living allowance on top of base salary  <br/>  Completion bonus  <br/>  Project will sponsor dependents  <br/>  Private education is provided for your children  <br/>  Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vacation, etc)  <br/>  Great way of save lots of money and spend time with your family (Employee only need to pay for miscellaneous expenses: Food, clothing, entertainment, etc)  <br/><br/>   US or Canadian Citizenship is required.    <br/>  A bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
