The new community is one of the largest ever planned and was constructed as a single project.<br/><br/>Need<br/><br/>Parsons is seeking a Senior Electrical Resident Construction Manager to be based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Successful candidate will provide senior level consultation and coordination of management of construction projects. Maintains line management responsibility for all functional activities associated with the execution of the construction projects with particular emphasis on obtaining maximum job quality, safety, accurate cost control and schedule compliance and contract administration. Responsible for implementation and managing all phases of operations of assigned construction projects. Monitors construction progress and schedules and the review and surveillance of field operations of the various contractors. Manages multi-disciplined staffs of construction and maintains adequate staffing of construction management personnel on assigned project(s).This successful candidate will perform the following duties:<br/><br/>1.     Implements construction management guidelines, policies and procedures related to construction activities for the assigned projects.<br/><br/>2.     Provides direct technical assistance and advice to Department Director regarding construction management activities and methodology, field operations, quality control and safety.<br/><br/>3.     Responsible for all assigned construction projects from award thru all phases of execution and close-out.<br/><br/>4.     Monitors and analyses field implementation progress and accomplishments and coordinates interface requirements and problems resolution.  Advises Department Director of potential critical technical problems in meeting schedule or specifications and recommends action plans as appropriate.<br/><br/>5.     Represents Department Director at construction related meetings such as pre-bid, post-award/kick -off and other special meetings with contractors and client or industry representatives.<br/><br/>6.     Provides section level construction management support to Project Management in key meetings and disputes with construction contractors.<br/><br/>7.     Ensure all procedures of QA/QC is being implemented with RC's safety requirements.<br/><br/>8.     Monitors the progress of all assigned construction project functions and report on their status to Director, Construction.  Give particular attention to reporting matters effecting program overruns and trends, safety, quality, change orders, contractor invoices, delays or claims and make every effort, in concurrence with the Director, Construction to rectify these conditions.<br/><br/>9.     Provide construction expertise and guidance as required by the assigned projects.  Review and evaluate technical problems concerning construction.<br/><br/>10.   Review and approves contractors' invoices and verify contractors' field installed quantities of contract items.<br/><br/>11. Review and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and approve their travel requests.<br/><br/>12. Coordinate with Contract Administration to prepare all necessary documents such as COIAs, Issuance of LOIs, Change Orders, etc.  Answering GBS inquires and correspondences to the Presidency at RC Riyadh.<br/><br/>13.
