		<title>Project Control Manager, Senior- Atlanta Job (Atlanta, GA, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Project Control Manager, Senior- Atlanta-02495<br/><br/><b>Description:</b><br/><br/><b>Position Overview:</b><br/><br/>Develops, manages, and executes all phases of the project controls effort (planning/scheduling and cost analysis) for a large transportation airport project.  This incumbent utilizes widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities, and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients. Will be responsible to plan and direct all aspects of the long term project control functions.<br/><br/>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:<br/><br/>Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.  Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports.<br/><br/>Will establish program WBS, OBS and CBS<br/><br/>Responsible for the cost and budget management of the program, along with the document control center<br/><br/>Responisble for all estimating, scheduling and cost monitoring.<br/><br/>Oversee the development of integrated management Information Systems including databases, software and hardware requirements.<br/><br/>Manages a team of Project Control Engineers/Specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.  Assesses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.  Oversees the development and maintenance of an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keeps project and company management fully informed.<br/><br/>Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel.  Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development for the assigned employees.<br/><br/>Recommends and oversees the customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.<br/><br/>Creates statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.<br/><br/>Supports business development efforts by providing input for proposals and making presentations, as required.<br/><br/>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:<br/><br/>4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent work experience) and 15+ years of related experience, as well as some experience in a managerial capacity.<br/><br/>SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:<br/><br/>Must understand Program Management principals, must be able to prioritize. Must have supervisory skills and experience with project controls staff on large transportation projects. Must know project controls, program management, document control systems, claims management, risk management, project cost and budgets.<br/><br/>Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.  Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in various software used in the Project Controls Department, such as Excel, Primavera, and Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS). 		<title>Business Development Specialist, Sr Job (Norcross, GA, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Business Development Specialist, Sr-02591<br/><br/><b>Description:</b><br/><br/><b>Position Overview:</b><br/><br/>Provides guidance to a proposal team in responding to and preparing materials for proposals, qualifications packages, and client presentations.  Establishes production schedule and expedites various items to ensure that they are completed by the designated due date.  May also serve in a similar capacity for the preparation of the annual business plan, various business development reports, and presentations to senior management.   Proofreads and/or edits drafts of documents created by others for spelling, grammar, clarity of communication, and consistency in formatting.  Resolves production problems within a demanding timeframe.  The incumbent regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in order to relieve the Business Development Manager of most day-to-day details.<br/><br/>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:<br/><br/>Reviews bid and qualification request documents to identify items to be included in response to Request for Proposal (RFP).  Collaborates with members of proposal team to develop strategy to be used.  Establishes production schedule and develops resource plan to ensure a timely response.<br/><br/>Reviews and confirms that the resource plan is adequate to ensure all production milestones will be met.  Establishes backup delivery plans as required.<br/><br/>Follows up with members of the proposal team on status of all proposal elements and expedites as required.<br/><br/>Edits and organizes all written technical materials supplied by support groups including organization of chapters, tables, exhibits, and attachments.  Provides graphic/layout assistance to help ensure that a quality proposal is produced. Prior editing or publishing experience, as well as exposure to technical writing related to the engineering field, is preferred.<br/><br/>SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:<br/><br/>Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
