Principal Project Manager

Need
Parsons has several contracts with the General Services Administration (GSA) to support large-scale engineering and construction programs. We are seeking a Principal Project Manager to oversee and expand our engineering and construction programs with the GSA. The successful candidate will help position Parsons for future awards and be responsible for the scope development, management, and performance of project teams. You will assure the projects are on target to meet our clients' objectives and adherence to fiscal and contract goals. The Project Manager will be familiar with the requirements and technical aspects of Federal contract vehicles as well as procurement activities.
The successful candidate will work with the client and subcontractors to execute the projects and negotiate any changes to the scope of work. The Project Manager will establish requirements for all areas of the project including planning and executing all of the business functions assigned to the project.
The position is located in Washington DC.
15 to 20 years experience in public building construction as a Project Manager or Construction Manager.
Have successfully managed at least one project over $75M in constructed value.
Federal construction management experience for vertical construction
CCM designation is required; LEED AP and PMI designations preferred.
Professional registration as an engineer or architect required.
4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field.
Masters degree preferred.
