Electrical Engineer

Project
Parsons is retained by the United States Air Force to operate and maintain civil infrastructure such as airfields, roadways, and buildings systems at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. Our efforts help assure the base infrastructure is in excellent condition to support mission readiness.
Need
Parsons requires an electrical engineer with a good understanding of electrical system distribution/ infrastructure, motors, generators, etc. to assist us in operations and maintenance of this important facility. The successful candidate will inspect and assess the electrical system components and then document the findings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and through written reports. In this position, you will help prioritize capital improvement projects and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. Your time will be spent both in the field and in the office. Good communication and willingness to work as part of a team of operations, maintenance, planning, and engineering personnel will be key to your success.
Requirements
· 3 years of engineering experience in conducting electrical system assessments and providing documentation
· Demonstrated knowledge of electrical distribution and components
· Ability to use CAD to document findings
· BS in electrical engineering
· Proof of US citizenship or US permanent residency
