SECTION I: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Preparation of mechanical system designs and specifications covering water and wastewater pump stations and treatment plants, district cooling systems, infrastructure and related facilities. Preparation of presentations, design reports and tender documents. Supervision of junior engineers and CAD.









SECTION III: EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS



Design of water distribution networks, tanks and pump stations and wastewater pump stations and treatment plants including knowledge of traditional treatment processes and membrane based systems. Ability to size pump stations and select suitable pump type and capacity is essential. Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of piping design, valve and penstock sizing and selection. Good knowledge of materials and ability to perform detailed calculations using MS Excel. Knowledge of alternative contract types and preparation of tender documents.



Minimum of 15 years experience preferable with at least 5 years in the Middle East. BSc in Mechanical Engineering with PE or Chartered Engineer status.
