OVERVIEW:

The Senior Construction Manager will manage the construction of a confidential client’s new mission-critical facilities and headquarters in Northern California. The complex will include a data center, operations control center and office space for approximately 720 employees.



· Senior Construction Manager to lead Parsons team for the day to day construction operations of the project as the Design/Builder.

· Responsible for purchasing, scheduling, cost control, documentation and safety

· Implements the Quality Assurance/QC program.

· Run regular construction progress meetings with client, designers, subcontractors and vendors.

· Coordinate with the Designers and the Owner for prompt response to RFIs, submittals and scope change orders

· Responsible for baseline schedule, monitoring the progress of construction activities and initiating corrective action if necessary

· Responsible for budget preparation and follow up throughout construction.

· Prepare periodic status reports for the Program Manager and Owner

Oversee the close-out of the project





ESSENTIALS:



12 years project Management experience in construction of commercial and public facilities



4 years specific experience in the construction of office complexes in the $150 Million and 200,000SF range, ideally in Northern California.



4 years Design/Build experience required



Able to prepare scopes of work for individual construction trades, construction schedules, forecasting and estimates



Experience with a large General Contractor preferred



GC, CM at Risk and CM Multi-prime experience a plus



Must be able to pass California Department of Justice Security clearance



Preferred resident of Northern California for the last several years



Bachelors degree in a related field



Equivalent work experience will be considered
