Project
Parsons is providing facilities management, operations and maintenance, site and space use planning, environmental compliance, engineering, security, emergency management, freight and vehicle management, and custodial care. for a secure agency within the Department of Defense (DoD). This is a restricted access facility and employees will be required to have a current DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with ability to obtain SCI. As part of our team, you will be actively contributing to a safer world for future generations.
An Electrician performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments
High School diploma or equivalent.
Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Five years of Electrician experience required. Journeyman or Masters License preferred. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Prefer current clearance of Top Secret- SCI
