Journeyman Electrician

Project
Parsons is providing facilities management, operations and maintenance, site and space use planning, environmental compliance, engineering, security, emergency management, freight and vehicle management, and custodial care, for a secure agency within the Department of Defense (DoD). Parsons services include: This is a restricted access facility and employees will be required to have a current DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with ability to obtain SCI. As part of our team, you will be actively contributing to a safer world for future generations.
As a journeyman electrician you will performs a variety of various trade functions that may include the following
Installing, maintaining, or repairing of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
Three years of Electrician experience required.
Journeyman License preferred. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Prefer current clearance of Top Secret- SCI
Computer Skills -Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
