Engineering Supervisor Mechanical

Project:
Parsons will provide EPC services from Pasadena for a Fully Integrated Energy and CO2 Recycling Pilot Plant. This project includes production of clean substitute natural gas from coal & renewable energy, recycling of greenhouse gas releases, and a new source of domestic transportation fuel. A 60 acre Fully Integrated Project campus will be constructed near Holbrook, Arizona.
This R&D project will develop, test, and evaluate at an engineering scale, a fully integrated algae farm producing biofuel from recycled carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, a two ton per day Hydrogasifier which produces SNG, hydrogen from electrolysis, and fuel derived from algal lipids. The algae will be grown in saline water on non-arable land.
Need
Parsons is seeking an Engineering Supervisor Mechanical to supervise up to eight Mechanical Engineers and design personnel on this unique project. Position will reside in Pasadena, California. Successful candidate will direct technical discipline and coordinate staffing. The Supervisor will also be responsible for schedule, cost, and quality of the discipline deliverables.
12 - 15 years of related work experience.
Professional Engineer registration, preferred.
Proficiency in current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments required.
Familiarity with of industry practices and regulations are required.
4-year Degree in Engineering (or related field)
