Need
Parsons' Project Development Group has a challenging and fast paced opportunity for a Business Development Specialist to perform complex proposal assignments on $100 million major proposals at our Pasadena, CA office. As a key member of the staff the successful candidate will participate in the proposal development process with focused support for the preparation of the pricing component using economic analysis to bid the prospect. Candidate will also develop strategies for responding to and preparing materials, proofread and edit drafts of documents, and resolve production problems within demanding timeframes.
Requirements
0-5 years of related work experience, 1-2 years of experience in proposal coordination and production preferred
Requires an understanding of the basic principles of estimating and pricing within a federal government contracting environment
Experience with manipulating and creating linked Excel spreadsheets strongly preferred
Prior editing or publishing experience, as well as exposure to technical writing related to the engineering field, is preferred.
4-year Degree in Economics, Finance, or Statistics (or related field); MBA with finance concentration strongly preferred.
