DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES::

* Manage staff, consultants, vendors and contractors during the construction phase of a school project.

* Responsible for seeing that project is built in full conformance with plans, specifications, schedules and budget.

* Perform day-to-day contract administration including: Bid analysis, pre-construction meetings, respond to contractor's questions, and review of contractor's construction schedules and submittals.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Requires 12+ years of experience in project/construction management of educational, public or commercial facilities. Minimum of 3 years experience as Owner's Authorized Representative in the construction phase of education facilities preferred.

* Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field required. Certified Construction Manager, Professional Engineer or Architect license/certification is preferred.

* Candidate must possess good verbal and written skills.
