Need
Parsons has a joint venture contract with the US Navy to support a large-scale planning, engineering, construction, and base operating support program. Our primary mission is to deliver infrastructure that will support the US Marine's reLocation: from Okinawa to Guam. As part of this team you will be helping to build a secure world for future generations. The position is located in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The successful candidate will provide environmental program support to personnel inside of NAVFAC PAC apprised of project status. They will develop, maintain, and analyze the schedule and funding, Prepare presentations, consolidate information and data related to the Guam Relocation EIS and environmental projects. This Environmental professional will collect input from staff and managers within the Guam Program Management Office and the Environmental Business Line and participate in meetings and communicating information and issues to other staff and managers. The job requires customer interface, with periodic travel to the project site as required to support the environmental program.
BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or urban planning
8 to 10 years related experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in environmental project management, including knowledge of critical path scheduling on large, complex projects
A minimum of 5 years experience on NEPA projects, including knowledge of steps and studies needed to complete an EIS
Knowledge of funding and awarding DoD contracts
5-10 years experience on DoD environmental contracts desired
