Project
Parsons has a long-term contract to provide facilities, construction, engineering and technical services for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. Through a combined effort with the facilities staff, Parsons provides quality design, construction, and IT support. Need
Parsons seeking a senior electrical engineer to join our team for a period of six months due to the volume of reconfiguration work needed to support facility operations. The successful candidate will have laboratory, clean room, office, and computer room design/rehabilitation experience and a desire to work in an on-site construction environment. It will also be helpful if you have a background in unit substation, switchgear, generator and UPS design and specifications. You will be defining electrical scope and budgets, selecting equipment, developing efficient installation schedules, determining material takeoffs, and coordinating activities with other disciplines on the team to meet our client's needs. In this role, familiarity with industry practices and regulations plus the ability to work as a team with other engineers will be keys to your success.
10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
Track record of supporting multiple reconfiguration projects
B.S. in electrical engineering
Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD 2006/2007
Professional Engineer registration is required
