The Design Manager - ATCC will be responsible for the overall design of the Air Traffic Control Complex / Systems



JOB DESCRIPTION



Manage and oversee Consultants for the design of Control Tower Complex. Coordinate activities and interfaces with stakeholders and agencies as IT relates to tower design and systems. Chairs and conducts progress and coordination meetings, provide presentation and analysis as required. Coordinates the completion of design reviews, RF(s) and shop drawings. Ensure as builts and close-outs of contract. Ensure quality of documents submitted by Consultants. Ensure timely tendering and packaging of project. Oversee the documents reviews and coordinate comments. Ensure design schedule and deliverables are being met. Review and provide input variations and change order as it relates to design.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE



15 years minimum aviation experience with minimum of 5 years in management role with emphasis on Air Traffic Control Tower design management, traffic control, control tower equipment and cab fit out. Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics or Communication Engineering - professional registration preferred. Knowledge of radars, control tower systems and their integration, airfield lighting, NAVAIDS, ILS, and other control systems interfaces are required. Knowledge of FAA and ICAO circulars, standards and regulations is a plus.
