Projects
Parsons has several large scale design-build governmental programs underway which require review of third party A/E firms' design and engineering deliverables; self performance of engineering studies, analysis, planning and design; commissioning services; and construction management oversight on mission critical facilities. These programs have openings for talented engineers who are clearable or already hold a security clearance. This position is contingent upon task order award anticipated later in 2009.

Need
Parsons is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to oversee senior engineers, designers, IT and technical support personnel who are developing shared or common IC-Tactical "user-ready" facilities that satisfy the intelligence community needs. These senior staff are tasked with collecting information, performing complex analysis, compiling reports, developing plans, preparing presentations and producing deliverables that provide our client with the information to develop and implement final strategic plans. The successful candidate will be thoroughly versed in MILCON construction and the attendant IT implications, the ODNI Shared Information Environment (ISE) initiatives, or military tactical systems. In order to facilitate their work, you will be responsible for monitoring their quality and progress and ensure that our engineering deliverables, budgets, and schedules are on target to satisfy our clients' requirements. The keys for success in this position will be your abilities to solve both technical and managerial challenges, implement leading edge solutions, and facilitate delivering "user ready" IC-Tactical facilities.

15 years of Federal government experience, preferably as Major/Lieutenant Commander/O-4 or GS-14 level, or working as a Federal contractor with Service/OSD Pentagon Staff or a comparable COCOM level staff
10 years of MILCON construction or security system experience for USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEE or DOD IT programs
Track record of managing engineers, designers and technical support personnel.
B.S. degree in engineering or related field
Licensed professional engineer (PE)
US citizen with TS/SCI clearance or must be able to obtain/maintain TS/SCI eligibility
