Projects
Parsons has several large scale design-build governmental programs underway which require review of third party A/E firms' design and engineering deliverables; self performance of engineering studies, analysis, planning and design; commissioning services; and construction management oversight on mission critical facilities. These programs have openings for talented engineers who are clearable or already hold a security clearance.
Need
Parsons is seeking a mechanical engineer to help develop shared or common IC-Tactical "user-ready" facilities that satisfy the intelligence community needs. The successful candidate will be tasked with collecting data pertaining to engineering HVAC related building systems and mechanical equipment specifications. You will perform complex analysis, compile reports, develop plans, prepare presentations and produce deliverables that will provide our client with reliable information to develop and implement final strategic plans. This position requires mechanical engineering expertise in MILCOM design and construction. You will perform reliability, availability, and maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses on mechanical systems. The keys for success in this position will be your abilities to solve technical challenges, develop leading edge solutions, and facilitate the development of "user ready" IC-Tactical facilities.
10 years of mechanical engineering design experience in MILCON construction and/or with USACE, NAVFAC or AFCEE
Track record of designing HVAC related building systems and equipment specifications
B.S. degree in mechanical engineering
Licensed mechanical professional engineer (PE)
US citizen with TS/SCI clearance or must be able to obtain/maintain TS/SCI eligibility
