Senior Transportation Engineer Job

Þ Preparation of traffic impact studies for small and large developments including data collection and analysis, travel demand modeling using currently used packages (in particular emme3); analysis of model runs; operational analysis including intersection analysis using standard techniques and packages (eg. SYNCHRO); development and analysis of mitigation measures;
Þ Urban / metropolitan transportation planning including corridor studies, regional network studies.
Þ Public transportation planning
Þ Other expertise such as integration of transportation planning and land-use planning; non-motorized transportation; parking management helps favorable assessment

· BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline
· MS in transportation planning / traffic engineering or related discipline preferred
· 10 years or more experience in transportation planning incl. preparation of traffic impact studies for small and large developments; travel demand modeling, including transit modeling, operational analysis, micro-simulation / GIS a plus
· Very good communication skills and report writing.
