Project Control Engineer/Specialist Job

· Responsible for the creation and maintenance of reports to accurately reflect current budgets, invoices and committed costs; projected-to-go or cost-to-complete estimates; budget variances; cash flow projections; and schedule of values for individual projects.
· Provide trending information to assist in forecasting potential problems with cost and time.
· Manage work breakdown structures and revisions.
· Coordinate conceptual estimates for various design and construction estimates to provide program budgets.
· Develop ROM estimates for consultancy and construction tenders
· Budget reconciliation against tenders
· Review of estimates against current market rates and conditions
· Development and maintenance of automated program cost database.
· Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations.
· Provide, annually, a fiscal budget and past period cost performance report.
· Provide, monthly, a consolidated program cost performance report.

Bachelor's Degree or at least four years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven construction experience in estimating, bidding and job cost preparation; and an understanding of construction contracts, scheduling and general construction management principles is required.

Construction experience in change order review / negotiations process preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
