Construction Inspector Job

Inspector shall make himself completely familiar with the plans, specifications, particular specifications and construction methods for the phases of the work to which they have been assigned.

Principal responsibilities are:

Ensure performance of the work in strict accordance with the contract documents.
Maintain a detailed dairy of work activities, issues, progress of works, etc.
Coordinate with the contractor construction personnel on a daily basis
Report issues, questionable methods to the senior engineer
Maintain detailed records of works performed, completed works for payments, review shop drawings, review material submittals, report progress of works, monitor safety conditions and highlight any deficiency.
Report and document any accident that occurs on site and notify Senior Engineer immediately.
Reports directly to the Construction Manager.

Familiarity with writing daily reports and reading/understanding contract documents and drawings.
Familiarity with safety and house keeping procedures at a minimum.
Relevant technical qualifications with acceptable engineering diploma from an acceptable engineering school.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Infrastructure works of which 5 years should be in the Gulf. Good verbal and written skills in English.
