We provide planning, environmental, engineering, construction, and facility operation services to design and build a safer world for future generations. We are looking for a few exceptional interns.
POSITION OVERVIEW :
Under close supervision of a licensed Architect, completes simple routine architectural or interior design support assignments. Assignments are designed to develop a practical knowledge of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and techniques.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare basic architectural drawings.
Corrects simple red-lined architectural drawings within parameters set by others.
Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
May also complete basic sketches and layouts as directed.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Incumbent must be enrolled in an Architectural or Interior Design curriculum at an accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of studies.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES :
Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural and interior design is required.
