Project Control/Estimating Specialist I Job

Cost/Quantity Surveyor will report directly to the Cost/QS Lead and will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities for tenders; Interim Payment Certificates and Financial Accounts; and provide data for Cash Flow predications. Key responsibilities include:
Estimation, Evaluation, negotiations and finalization of variation orders.
Prepare and develop preliminary cost plan.
Monitor cost implications during detailed design stage.
Maintain and develop cost plan, and prepare periodic reports and updated cash flow forecasts.
Administrating contract from Award through close-out.
Conducting contract negotiations, pricing and attending commercial issues.
Monitoring and managing claims and disputes.Project cost estimates, cost impact studies and cost planning.
Preparation and certification of Interim payments to contractors, subcontractors in accordance with contract requirements.
Developing monthly cash flow statements.
Maintaining rate data base for various Bill of Quantities items.
Final valuation of works and final account management.
College Degree with at least 10 years experience
Demonstrated advanced understanding of Estimating core processes and
procedures.
Extensive knowledge and experience in estimating practices and
methods, including demonstrated ability to organize, perform, and
present cost estimating products with a minimum of supervision.
Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement and
construction methods and techniques.
Skilled in oral and written communication with demonstrated ability to
present estimating information to peers and management.
Skilled in oral and written communication with demonstrated ability to
